Expert Talk on STEM Education Held at IDPS Tadepalligudem

 

August 5, 2025 – Tadepalligudem, West Godavari:
International Delhi Public School (IDPS), Tadepalligudem, successfully hosted an expert-led workshop on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education as part of a CBSE initiative to promote experiential learning.

The event brought together principals and teachers from CBSE-affiliated schools across the district, emphasizing the transformative impact of STEM in modern classrooms.

The session was inaugurated by IDPS Chairman Sri CH. Naresh and Secretary Sri G. Manikumar. Outgoing DTC Smt. L. V. Ramadevi delivered the keynote address, highlighting the critical shift from traditional teaching to experiential, hands-on learning. She urged educators to innovate and implement STEM practices for diverse student age groups.

Mr. Uma Srinivas, District Training Coordinator (CBSE City Coordinator), warmly welcomed the participants and set the tone for the day.

Renowned STEM advocates Sri S. G. Srinivas and Smt. D. Susheela delivered enlightening talks on the role of STEM in nurturing problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking in students. Their insights encouraged educators to rethink lesson design and classroom engagement.

The workshop concluded with interactive sessions and idea-sharing among the attendees, making it a valuable step toward enhancing 21st-century skills in school education.
