Mana Mitra Brings Governance to Your Fingertips
Naidupeta:
Ensuring transparent and accessible governance is the core goal of the Andhra Pradesh government's "Mana Mitra" WhatsApp initiative, said Municipal Commissioner Mr. Fajlullah.
On Tuesday morning, the municipality conducted a public awareness rally across the streets of the town to educate citizens about the "Mana Mitra" WhatsApp app and its wide range of services. Addressing the event, the Commissioner explained that through this app, citizens can easily access various civic services using just their smartphones and WhatsApp.
The Andhra Pradesh government has designated 95523 00009 as the official WhatsApp number for Mana Mitra services. Citizens can simply send a message from their WhatsApp to this number to avail themselves of key services.
Services such as trade license issuance, property tax payments, tap water bill payments, and access to various certificates are now just a message away. The Commissioner emphasized that people no longer need to visit government offices for these services, saving them valuable time and effort.
Additionally, this WhatsApp account will also be used by the government to send important public information and updates directly to citizens. This digital initiative not only boosts convenience but also strengthens government-citizen communication.
The event saw active participation from Municipal Manager Urukundamma, municipal staff, ward secretariat staff, and MEPMA employees, who supported the awareness campaign.
The Commissioner urged all citizens to make the best use of this innovative "WhatsApp Governance" platform and take full advantage of the services at their fingertips.
