Man Held for Hiding Ganja in Shop to Frame Owner
Tirupati District, Gudur: Gudur DSP Geetha Kumari revealed in a press meet held at the DSP office in Gudur town that a youth was arrested for allegedly placing ganja packets in a shop with the intention of harassing the shopkeeper amid a local dispute.
During the media briefing, DSP Geetha Kumari stated that a special surveillance team has been deployed to monitor ganja smuggling and sales across the Gudur division. As part of this crackdown, several youths from Gudur One Town were recently arrested while attempting to sell ganja.
In a separate incident on Hospital Road, a young man named Nayum reportedly planted approximately 600 grams of ganja packets inside a shop. He then spread false information, alleging that the medical shop was illegally selling ganja.

DSP Geetha Kumari urged the public to cooperate with the police and report any incidents of ganja possession, use, or sale in the region.
