Grand Rally Held in Kuppam

Kuppam, Chittoor District – A grand rally was held in Kuppam to thank the coalition government for fulfilling promises made to the Nayee Brahmin community. The event was organized under the leadership of TTD Board Member Vaidyam Shantaram and MLC Kancherla Sreekanth.

Large numbers of Nayee Brahmins from four mandals participated, expressing joy with traditional music and cultural performances. The celebrations began with special prayers at the Tirupati Gangamma temple, followed by a ceremonial vaidyam neerajanam (musical tribute) to the goddess.

A decorated procession featured a portrait of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, followed by tributes at the NTR statue. Later, a paalabhishekam (milk offering) was performed to portraits of CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Nara Lokesh.

Speaking at the event, Shantaram criticized the previous YSRCP government for neglecting the Nayee Brahmin community. He alleged that key welfare schemes initiated by the earlier TDP government were scrapped, severely affecting poor families. He also claimed the YSRCP issued multiple GOs that were never implemented.

The rally reflected renewed hope among the community under the new government.
