Case Filed Against Former MLA Thopudurthi's Brother Over Controversial Remarks

Anantapur: A case has been registered against Thopudurthi Chandra Sekhar Reddy, brother of former Raptadu MLA Thopudurthi Prakash Reddy, for allegedly making derogatory comments against TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and his family during the YSRCP regime in November 2022.

According to reports, Chandra Sekhar Reddy, along with YSRCP workers, made the offensive remarks at the MPP office in Raptadu. The comments were deemed inappropriate and led to a complaint by TDP leaders.

About 15 days ago, TDP representatives approached District SP Jagadeesh with a formal complaint regarding the incident. Based on their complaint, the police have now registered a case against Chandra Sekhar Reddy. The matter is under investigation.
