Good News for the Poor in AP: CM Chandrababu Launches P-4 Initiative
Amaravati, February 6, 2025: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has launched the P-4 (Poverty Prevention and Prosperity Promotion Programme) initiative aimed at eradicating poverty and improving economic self-reliance among the state's underprivileged sections.
Under the P-4 scheme, the government will focus on uplifting the bottom 20% of economically weaker sections while also supporting the top 10% in self-employment opportunities. CM Naidu emphasized that every citizen should participate in this mission, ensuring economic empowerment across all communities.
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) shared a video on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), encouraging people to join hands in making this initiative successful.
Meanwhile, political tensions continue to rise as TDP made a sensational tweet regarding the fire incident outside former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence. The party posted:
"SIT fell in the morning… something burned by night," referring to the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) earlier in the day to probe the liquor scam under the previous government.
The fire incident outside Jagan's Tadepalli residence, reportedly caused by a discarded cigarette, has gone viral, triggering heated political debates.
