Reliance to Build World's Largest Data Center in Gujarat

Reliance Industries, led by Mukesh Ambani, is set to construct the world’s largest data center in Jamnagar, Gujarat, marking a monumental step in India’s technological advancement. The state-of-the-art facility will boast a massive capacity of three gigawatts, making it a global benchmark in data center infrastructure.

Reliance plans to incorporate advanced AI chips to power this ambitious project, showcasing its commitment to cutting-edge technology and innovation. The initiative aligns with the company’s broader vision of integrating artificial intelligence into its operations and expanding India's digital capabilities.

In October, Reliance collaborated with Nvidia to explore the establishment of AI computing infrastructure and innovation centers across India. During the discussions, Mukesh Ambani highlighted his aspiration to make AI accessible to every individual in the country, ensuring inclusivity in technological progress.

The data center is expected to significantly enhance India’s digital ecosystem, providing a robust platform for AI-driven innovations, cloud computing, and data management at an unprecedented scale. This project further underscores Gujarat’s position as a leading hub for industrial and technological development in India.
